The French Revolution is defined as the political upheaval of world importance that began in France in 1789. Inspired by the success of the American Revolution, French citizens overthrew the noble, ruling class and establish a democratic government. The French monarchy under Louis XVI was viewed as oppressive and corrupt and the social structure was rigid, meaning it did not allow for social mobility which eventually forced the people to demand change.Directions copy the summary into your blog and answer the following question in a blog response.Blog
Why was the French Revolution a significant movement in history and would you consider the French Revolution a success?
The French Revoultion was very significant because it changed the way of the government forever. Before it was complete chaois and one man had complete control in an unfair and uncontrolable way. With the people rebolted it gave France power aswell as a declaration. Them rebolting demolished the way they lived before as well as gave them freedom they could not believe. Although it broke out into a time where people were in fear of their lives, it was all for the better. It was a great success because although they lived with fear for a period of time they got back the freedom they deserved all along.
