Blog Question - Describe Napoleon’s character and leadership style and discuss how Napoleon has had positive and/or negative effects on Europe using specific expamles and details.

Napoleon was a very unique and original man. He knew how to get control and he knew how to keep it. He was extremly pursuasive and it was no doubt he had a lot of people supporting him all the way. He took problems upon himself and did whatever he could to fix them. One word to describe him is relentless, because when the going got tough he always found a way to pull thru. People could call him selfish and controlling, but hey, he kept things in control the best he could. He said he was no ordinary man and that is completly true. Napoleon gained and conquered an immense amount of land but the problem was he always lived life in the present and never the future. Although it is excellent to live life for now, it is important to plan for ahead. He gained so much power and control that it was hard to stop. He craved power, control, he craved all the land to be his. He kept going and going moving further and further forward.
